Wiener Kaffeehaus

Let yourself be seduced by the aroma of coffee and the views of the Zlatohorská vrchovina Highlands as much as the first guests of this café gave in to this temptation in the enchanting Belle Époque period. At that time Art Nouveau dominated Europe and the impressive Priessnitz Sanatorium was just started to be built at our spa resort. Surrender to this unique atmosphere in the traditional WIENER KAFFEEHAUS spa café.

Modern Front-cooking Restaurant

The Vienna Café is a modern workplace based on the so-called front-cooking system which allows you to follow the chef  when preparing meals and desserts. Besides the interior area, it also offers seating places in the summer pavilion and on the terrace with the views of the Zlatohorská vrchovina Highlands, Zlatý chlum and Křížový vrch (open only in summer months).

Vienna Café History

The history of the astonishing WIENNER KAFFEEHAUS café in Gräfenberg began in the early 20th century in the enchanting Belle Époque period, when Art Nouveau dominated Europe and the impressive Priessnitz Sanatorium had just was just started to be built at our spa resort. At that time, as today, the coffee house was decorated having a half-timbered storey and gables which evoke the image of the fashionable spa life at the turn of the 20th century. Over the past century, however, it had been not only a café full of chattering guests, but also an abandoned sad house without life. It was not until June 17, 2015 that its lost fame was ceremonially restored and the smell of coffee tempts us again to sit there and watch the views of the Zlatohorská vrchovina Highlands.
